ROMBAUT is a vegan accessory brand with sustainability at its core. For SS23, the Parisian sustainable brand took to the streets of LA, capturing a sometimes esoteric, sometimes on fire, and almost definitely flooding LA in manipulated (are they though...?) images around the city. The timely documentation of a notoriously scorched metropolis turning into a sudden flood plane worked well for the brand's sustainable tilt. Founder and creative director, Mats Rombaut is known for his innovative use of food waste textiles and algae resins, as well as dynamic eye-catching campaigns. Also the co-founder of sustainable brand Virón (w/ co-partner Julian Roemer); the Belgium-born multidisciplenary artist is applying his talent and taste to further the eco-fashion innitiative.
