Petra Fagerström is an eponymous womenswear label founded in 2022. The studio centers on lenticular pleating, an optical technique that shifts with movement, set against tailored, sculptural jackets and layered separates. Collections use upcycled and deadstock materials, tying craft to narrative experiment. The work received the Mercedes-Benz Sustainability Prize and the Chanel Atelier des Matières Prize at the 38th Festival d’Hyères in 2023, and the Challenge the Fabric Award in Milan in 2025. Fagerström completed an MA in Womenswear at Central Saint Martins in 2025 and continues to treat memory, tradition, and modernity as active material.
