Francesco Murano

Francesco Murano, born in 1997, is an Italian designer who graduated in Fashion Design from IED Milan in 2019, earning the Camera Moda Italiana Fashion Award. His work gained international attention when Beyoncé wore his designs at the 2020 Grammys, styled by Zerina Akers. That same year, he won Who is On Next? by Vogue Italia and officially launched his namesake brand in 2021. Merging classical and baroque art with modern contradictions, Murano’s aesthetic explores the tension between the Apollonian and Dionysian: order and chaos, reason and passion. In 2024, he was awarded a grant by the Italian Fashion Trust, and a look from his Fall/Winter 2025 collection appeared on the cover of Vogue Italia’s December 2024 issue.
