Doublet

In 2012, designer Masayuki Ino teamed up with contemporary artist and pattern maker Takashi Murakami to establish streetwear imprint doublet. Conceived as a line of "daily wear with a feel of disorder," the cult Japanese label injects menswear basics with a unique combination of novelty and subversion. A mishmash of disparate subcultural references, from '80s punk to all-American varsity teams, unite in the brand’s selection of deconstructed and reconstructed menswear separates.
