Kei Ninomiya returns to childhood's playfulness, happiness, and what he describes as "the first drawing." Star-shaped motifs, sculptural ruffles, and sheer layering populate the collection. The design process began with something abstract and symbolic, and ends up as whimsical and childlike joy, while the process and transformation remains paramount.

Where Ninomiya builds form for form's sake, Junya Watanabe grounds experimental construction in function, and Kawakubo finds the art of the in-between.
