Since it's inception in 1988, Maison Margiela has been, and continues to be, one of the leading ateliers in luxury conceptual clothing. It's founder, Martin Margiela, defined Belgium's avant-garde aesthetic, espousing an unselfish and all-for-one approach to design and craftsmanship. After Margiela left in 2009, the house appointed John Galliano as its director. The brand's latest offerings consist of blending conventional menswear with a contemporary touch, mixing modern coloring techniques with minimalist silhouettes for their more relaxed garments contrasted by matured bespoke construction.
