A continuation of his namesake line, Issey Miyake's Homme Plissé explores one of the Japanese designers signature techniques. Wrinkle-resistant and durable, quick-drying textiles are heat-pleated into three-dimensional shapes that hang off the body like fragile paper sculptures and evoke a mysterious liminality between geometry, organic forms, and object design.
