Named after a combination of the founders' surnames (Tania Martins and Mona Koochek), MARKOO designs are much like its namesake - all about sharing. Specialising in pieces that you would typically select whilst raiding your friend’s wardrobe, the Toronto-based label captures the collective spirit of everyone’s beloved classics (such as crisp white shirts, minimal black dresses and tailored separates). And while simplicity is an undoubtable mainstay of each collection, MARKOO still integrates its own take on eclectic design codes with discreet, nostalgic references (sometimes it’s the 1920’s, sometimes the ‘70s and ‘80s). In our edit you’ll find gathered jersey pieces, faux leather black dresses with cutout detailing, shirts with large utilitarian pockets and a measured amount of arty prints.
