Inspired by designers such as Commes des Garçons and Maison Martin Margiela, Tokyo-based couturier Kunihiko Morinaga founded Anrealage in 2003. Empowered by his belief that handmade and machine-built technology go hand-in-hand, each of Morinaga's collections are inspired by a unique concept. Grounding these concepts, however, is the notion that the pieces are not one-off products: Morinaga's latest inventions allow the client to alter the shape of the skillfully crafted everyday-wear.
