Enfold

Faithfully Japanese, Enfold embraces the philosophy of finding beauty in hidden places, presenting clothes that, true to their name, envelop the body, inverting the roles of clothing and wearer in an investigation of relaxation. Under the direction of Mizuki Ueda, the label walks the line between conservative and casual, an intentional balance that appeals across age and body type. By deliberately wrapping the body in puffed bodices and bulbous trousers, Enfold simultaneously hides and creates form, an empowering immersion with a private comfort only the wearer can realize. And for what seems to be a simple, modest offering, Enfold engages with a complex human challenge: being comfortable with who you are, and enjoying things for your own sake.
