Namacheko was founded in 2015 by brother-sister duo Dilan and Lezan Lurr. Born in Iraq to a Kurdish family, they moved to Sweden early in their childhood. After studying art and engineering, they discovered the many avenues which clothing design provided. Through this, they channeled their artistic prowess, drawing inspiration from their identities as both Kurds and Swedes, creating an environment where they know they belong. Made-to-measure cuts on both muted and vibrant tones dominate their most recent collection, accompanied by subtle shape distortions and slashed panels.
