Belgian designer Julie Kegels, a graduate of Antwerp's Royal Academy of Fine Arts, launched her namesake label in 2024 after interning at Meryll Rogge and Alaïa. Her debut Ready-To-Wear collection, "50/50," will debut at Women’s Fashion Week FW24-25 in Paris, showcasing her distinctive fusion of contemporary elegance with playful twists. Kegels' designs feature unconventional pairings, like provocative translucent granny socks and wool skirts with denim accents. Drawing inspiration from nostalgic memories and modern influences, she embraces fashion’s transformative power, blending past and present in accessories through innovative thermoforming techniques and romantic lace patterns.
