Japanese footwear studio Gion Naito transforms the traditional sandal form into its modern ergonomic equivalent as part of their "mana PROJECT", which focuses on producing designs that are simultaneously simple and futuristic. Sandals, in both zori and geta forms, are reworked with friction-resistant neoprene straps and cushy cork footbeds, while EVA-embedded soles are fabricated in SBR for superior abrasion resistance.
